A Little About Concrete Hero - Concrete Leveling & Coatings
Many property owners don’t pay attention to their concrete until it’s so bad that replacement is the only option. And that becomes a costly project. So anything you can do to avoid replacement is money well spent.
My name is Pete Catalano and I’m the president and founder of Concrete Hero – Concrete Leveling & Coatings. What we do is simple: we save concrete. We do this by offering concrete lifting, coatings and sealing to help extend the life of your concrete.
Our History
We are no stranger to concrete. When my father came here from Italy in 1972 he got right into the concrete trade. He spent 40 years pouring and finishing concrete. And I spent all my summers growing up helping him on the job. It was tough work…but satisfying.
After graduating college I become a teacher and after doing that for 5 years, I decided to go a different direction and had a desire to start my own business.
I realized there is a huge need in the Chicagoland area for concrete repair in Chicago and maintenance services. So I did my research, found the best products, refined the best methods, and launched Concrete Hero – Concrete Leveling & Coatings.
Concrete Lifting
Here in the Midwest it’s very common for concrete to sink over time. It gets beat up by mother nature season after season. And poor construction doesn’t help. This creates trip hazards and serious water drainage problems.
Our PolyLift System offers a quick, affordable, long lasting solution. By injecting a polymer through dime sized holes, we lift and stabilize the sunken concrete in a matter of hours, for a fraction of the cost of replacement.
It’s an amazing and highly effective solution and we are proud to say we were one of first companies in the Chicago area to offer this technology.
But our services don’t stop at just lifting. We also offer caulking, cleaning, sealing and coatings. Water is concrete’s biggest enemy. By stopping water from getting into and under your concrete, you can prolong its life.
